Manning shrug
The Manning shrug…
Showing off a repetitive open weave mesh look in a quick and easy knit. All edges are kept in simple garter stitches. The yarn used here feels wonderfully comfy to wear.
The shrug is knitted flat, it then gets folded in half and the sleeves get seamed following the schematic on page two of pattern.
As shown the flat dimensions of the rectangular shape are
64” (58” with the sleeve cuffs folded) and the height of the body measures 14.5”. The depth/length of sleeves/body are adjustable and the instructions tell you how to go about it.
Yarn used here
A sport weight mercerized cotton. 125 yards a skein. 3 skeins are needed.
