Manny is a sideways garter stitch chevron scarf that is done in 3 colors of Koigu on a US 3/3.25mm. There no ends to weave in (not one!). Yarn is cut after every row to make the fringe. My daughter and I laughed our way through Italy after encountering newlyweds at the Vatican. The husband was named Manny. They were from Long Island and her voice was gripping and loud. “Maaaanny, would you buy me that?” (scarf to cover her short skirt so she could enter St. Peter’s.) “Maaaaaaany, hurry uuuup!” (getting her coffee before the tour.) “Maaaaany, you’re not supposed to take pictures!” (the Vatican crypt.) So, during the trip, at random times we would break into a dramatized nasal “Maaaaany, I’m tiiiired!” or “Maaaaaany, stop doing that!” So, I bring you Manny, the quintessential Italian accessory. Perfect with a white t-shirt while strolling through Rome. Very chic but never annoying.
