MannyRy Beanie
Teamed up with Jen from Jennifer’s Stitched Up so I can introduce the Manny-Ry Beanie, named after my daughter Amanda and my son Ryan.
Like them, I wanted a design that was fun joyful and unique, and I think this one is on point.
This hat has a bit of a ‘hippy’ vibe to it, and makes granny squares groovy again in today’s time.
The colour combos are only limited to the imagination, so it can easily be made into something bright and fun, or something neutral and subdued.
This design uses classic simple stitches throughout, but is not worked in a traditional hat style, but rather a mix of top down, bottom up and flat, therefore intermediate skills are required.
Supplies needed are worsted weight yarn, 5mm and 4.5mm hook, yarn needle, scissors and faux fur pompom if desired.
