This hat was designed in northern Cyprus with different colours of dk weight yarn…as much as I could stuff into my backpack.
It is a great way to use up the leftovers in your stash. The pattern is written for dk yarn, and yet some fingering and worsted snuck into the samples.
The hat begins with moss stitch, then a latvian braid and then on to stranded colour work.
It is a fun and quick knit.
The pattern is for baby and toddler size with a suggestion, at the end, for an adult version.
There are so many possibilities for colours and style. The hat could also be knit in two colours or with a yarn such as Noro Silk Garden dk
