6 oz Patons Moorland Knitting
Four UK size No 10 Needles with points at both ends (equivalent to 3.25mm)
The cuff of these socks is worked in 2X2 rib.
Either three-needle bind-off OR grafting (kitchener stitch) may be used at the toe.
N.B. These socks are similar to, but not the same as, the Man’s Heavy Socks in Five Knitted Socks from the 1940s.
