This shawl accompanies the Mansfield Park Capelet. The designs are similar but this is a much easier knit and just as pretty.

2 900 yard skeins left me with 20g and the test knit was made long on purpose to accomodate a very tall lady. This is equally important if you are a plus size and want to be sure to have plenty of drape and coverage.

The lace patterns are very easy to memorise and there are big sections of repeats so getting into the habit is simple and takes no time at all.

I love this shawl! It has great drape and the silk/wool is both delicate and warm.
