This is the love child of Cookie Monster and a large sea creature.

The tail, body, and eyeballs are knit in one piece, with the tailfin either picked up or knit separately. Basic increases and decreases, as well as short rows, are used in the shaping. Multiple finishes are provided for personalization. Lots of photos and stitch descriptions are included.

The example is knit with sport weight cotton yarn on U.S. size 3 needles. It is approximately 7 inches long, and 6 inches wide. Size will change depending on choice of yarn and needle size.
