The “Manzanita Cowl“ is knit in the round in a simple, botanically-inspired lace pattern with a bobbled edging.
The undulating branches might remind you of seaweed or grapevines. Since I’m a desert girl, they make me think of manzanita, with its leafy, cascading branches, rounded leaves, and delicate flowers and berries.
It uses one skein of a worsted-weight yarn.
The yarn shown in the pattern is a lofty, single-spun, naturally dyed, organic merino yarn. I think it would knit up beautifully in Malabrigo or Manos, too.
It’s suitable for intermediate knitters, with both line-by-line and charted instructions.
The finished size is 19” around and 9” long.
