Máo
Máo - “Yak”. The curve of this reminds me of the shape of a yak’s horns.
This little piece is just perfect to put over your shoulders or to wrap around your neck for a bit of color and to keep away a light chill. The crescent shape and the increases create little ripples on the edge, and well as causing the curve to stay around your shoulders automatically like a nice hug. It’s just the right sort of thing to show off that special skein.
When measured side to side (straightened out) this is 50” long, and it is 9” from the nape of the neck to the lower edge.
Yarn: Plymouth Mushishi, 1 skein (plenty left over)
Noro Kureyon, 4 skeins (use of 4th skein depends on your gauge)
Needle: circular US9/5.5mm, 24”-29”
Notions: Tapestry needle
Gauge: 4 st/in garter stitch
