This pattern is inspired by Maomao from The Apothecary Diaries. 5 ply milk cotton and a 3.0mm hook was used to design this pattern but feel free to use whichever yarn and corresponding hook you’d like!

Materials needed

3.0 mm crochet hook
Stitch markers
Tapestry needle
Embroidery scissors
Fabric or UHU glue (optional for hair)
Polyfill stuffing

Hair: teal green yarn
Blouse and shoes: jewel green yarn
Blouse sleeves: light green yarn
Blouse collar: small amount of dark leaf green yarn
Hair tie: small amount of blush pink yarn
Hair tie: light periwinkle blue yarn
Skin: beige yarn
Skirt: maroon or dark red yarn

For regular Maomao:
2x 10mm dark blue resin buttons/safety eyes

For cat Maomao:
10cm 1.5mm aluminium wire for the tail
Ears: light pink yarn
Eyes: small amount of dark blue, white and black yarn
