Maple says hi! Maple is one of my all time favorite villagers from Animal Crossing, so naturally I had to make her at some point. She is such a cutie, how could I not?! I hope some of you like her as much as I do and will give her a go!

Materials
To make Maple you will need:
– A Crochet hook, 2.5mm
– DK Yarns in the following colors: Light brown, cream, yellow, light pink as well as green, orange and black for the embroidery
– A tapestry needle and scissors
– A safety nose (you could embroider this too)
– Stuffing
– A stitch marker to help you keep track of the start of the round
Please note that you can make Maple using any size crochet hook and yarn weight for a smaller or bigger result. Using DK yarn and a 2.5mm crochet hook, Maple should be about 15cm tall.

Stitches & Abbreviations
The pattern is written using US crochet terms in continuous spirals. You will need to know the following kinds of stitches to make him:
– Chaining (Ch)
– Magic Ring (MR)
– Single crochet (sc)
– Decrease (dec); preferably using the invisible decrease method
– Increase (inc)
– Crocheting into back loops only (BLO)
