inspired by one of my favorite sights in spring - blooming maple trees, this is my ticket to The Canadian Crazy Train 2016.

they are a lot easier to knit than they look.

knitted toe-up completely in star stitch pattern, with comfy twist on short row heel and airy ruffle around the ankle. they do not have to be completely identical - simple trick makes one left and one right sock in the pair.

best yarn - something tonal. and to top them of - a little airy lace ruffle around the ankle.

sizing - being a little like the recipe, this pattern allows you to customize the size as needed, adjusting it to your gauge (not mine) and putting together parts like heel and toe as they fit you (not me). in any case - they are comfy and fit perfectly.
