Maple Branch Shawl
Inspired by Japanese Maple trees and the architecture of the pagodas in Horyu-ji, this crochet beaded shawl combines multiple threads of cashmere, silk and stainless steel from Habu Textiles, entwining delicacy with strength. Seed beads worked into the edging catch the light like the surface of a koi pond, subtly limning the botanical motifs.
