If you are not a big fan of Magic Ring, please use a 2-chain method. Pattern is beginner friendly - single crochet in spiral without slip stitching between the rows but there are also details with use of double crochet and front and back posts crochet stitches.

The pattern describes how to make Marcel and Marta the Monkeys. Finished toys are approximately 12-13” (30-33 cm) tall. Banana is included in the pattern.
