Marceline is 1000 years old, but is a teenager at heart. Her head, body and arms are created separately and stitched together, with the neckline of her tank top worked using intarsia-like techniques, written out clearly in the pattern for convenience and ease!

Finished figure measures about seven inches tall (plus the volume of hair), though gauge for this project does not need to be exact. Work tightly enough to make sure that stuffing does not show through.

I chose to make this version of Marceline a little brighter than the animated figure is usually depicted because I like bright colors. You can make her skin as grey-blue-green as you like by substituting your choice of color where the pattern dictates the use of teal yarn.
