The price of this pattern has been inflated for the months of March and April 2015 so that 20% of the profit can be donated to the Pancan.org foundation to help Wage Hope in the fight against Pancreatic Cancer. The donation will go towards research in the hopes of finding a cure.

I designed this cowl in honor and memory of my beautiful Mama Marcella Rose. After fighting stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer for almost 2 years sadly my Mama lost her fight in January of 2012. Yet somehow even in the saddest times I am reminded that I carry my sweet and silly Mama with me. I loved making things for her and I would have loved giving her this. I hope that when you knit this it brings you happiness as my sweet Mama brought happiness to so many others.

You will knit the top section of this cowl flat and then join to knit the remainder of the body in the round. This cowl is easy to customize. You can use two separate semi solid skeins or just pick your favorite. To make the cowl smaller simply do fewer textured sections.
