The March Mittens are all about mosaics. Inspired by simple but stunning Moroccan tiles, the mittens use traditional colorwork to produce a modern motif. The cuff is accented with Latvian braids leaning counter to each other. In conjunction with the release of the pattern, we have a helpful tutorial for Latvian braids if this is your first time knitting them.

The palm is a simple checker board pattern that creates a warm and firm fabric. The mosaic pattern fits neatly into the shape of the mitten and is finished with a set of bold stripes at the top.
