Spring is nearly upon us, with the bright trumpets of bunches of daffodils bringing sunshine to the table. Grey skies give way to bright blues, with thge fresh green of glass and leaves returning.

These patterns are inspired by the daffodil, and there are a few different ways you can knit. I’ve included a three height panel, which I love, but if this isn’t something you want to try, then there are also four square patterns to use.

Year By Piece 2025

The Year By Piece 2025 Mystery Knit Along is a project designed for you to ‘knit the year’, with four new patterns each month to turn into a blanket.

Each design will be released at the start of the month, and use the core palette included in the images.

Yarn

I recommend using Cascade 220 yarn, however this pattern works really well with any Aran or DK yarn, and could be adapted to make a smaller throw if using fingering weight.

The palette is a suggestion only, and this would be a great stash-busting project.
