Marchbank cowl is knit in the round from the bottom up in a textured pattern of alternating seed stitch and twisted stockinette stitch. The pattern is perfect for bringing out the beauty of your favourite speckled or variegated colourways, or work it in a solid or tonal yarn to show off the texture. Choose from two sizes – the small is a snug cowl that knits up with just one skein, while the large is a generous, dramatic cowl that can also be worn as a capelet.

or other bulky weight yarn that blocks well and knits up to a gauge of 14 sts = 4”/10 cm in stockinette.
