This hat features a row of hearts marching above the band. You will only join the second color once. You won’t have to tie off and weave in ends multiple times!The instructions include photos to walk you through carrying the yarn for the color not being used.

The hat pictured is a child’s size. Instructions are included for both child and adult sizes.

You will need two contrasting colors of yarn. When estimating what you need, keep in mind you will use more of the main color than the second color which is used for the hearts and band. For the child’s size, it’s about 2/3 main color and 1/3 contrasting color. For the adult, it’s closer to 3/4 main color and 1/4 contrasting color.
