Meet Marco. Contrary to popular belief, he does not spend his days swinging from trees or ‘monkeying’ around. Marco is an academic with a PhD in philosophy, and he finds this stereotype about his kin quite abhorrent. In fact he would choose a nice wine and cheese over a banana any day.

Use ‘Magic circle’ method for crochet in the round (stitch multiple stitches within one loop and pull tight to form a circle)

You will need:

50g brown double knitting yarn for main body
25g of pale beige/cream double knitting yarn for mouth, arms and feet
Small amount of black double knitting yarn for eyes
4mm crochet hook
Embroidery needle
Polyester toy stuffing
Row marker

Finished product is approximately 23cm tall or 14cm when seated.
