Mardi Gras
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
Vintage lace motif used in novel modular construction to create this wrap/scarf, which can be worn in several different ways for a fresh and festive look.
Lace motif uses only K2tog decreases, and is based on garter stitch. (No purling!)
Ability to work from charts and a sense of adventure required, but the results are well worth it!
(Many thanks to hearing-girl for test knitting!)
CLARIFICATION - Do not worry about Right Side versus Wrong Side. The charts are always read the same. But sometimes the “right side” of the motif you are working on is on what you consider the “wrong side” of the scarf, because some of the motifs are worked face up and others face down.
