This cowl is purely decoration; it offers no warmth factor at all. In fact, it may lean a bit more to the necklace side of the scale, than cowl, but I prefer to think of it in cowl terms. Alternating popcorn stitches with glass beads in the traditional Mardi Gras colors of yellow, green, and purple, give us the look of strings of Mardi Gras beads.
