I love Christmas. It’s a time when you can change the decor of your house and go overboard because it only lasts two weeks.

I enjoy making stuff so every year brings a different Christmas theme: Traditional with red santas and nutcrackers, Natural with wooden bird houses, pinecones and gingerbread, Classic Elegance with salt clay angels and snowflakes, sometimes a combination of those three themes. But my favorite is Mardi-Gras with polymer clay masks, beads, peacock feathers, lots of bold colors.

I really enjoyed designing a stocking for every one of these Holiday themes and I hope that you like the Collection.

With the Mardi Gras Socking, you get the rich color combination of precious gems to light up Chrismas. This fairisle pattern is for the intermediate knitter as there are three yarns to carry across the whole body of the stocking.

There is sufficient space in the top border to knit in the name of the recipient. Knitted in the round from the top with a reinforced integrated border down to the toes grafted with a Kitchener stitch.

There is a small amount of sewing required to attach the I-cord tab and fixing the inside border. Lining is recommended and instructions are provided if you wish to do so.
