“Marea” is a simple shrug. It is worked flat as a simple rectangle. Then, it is sewn along the short sides to create the openings for arms. The stitch pattern is a variation of the “Feather and Fun” motif which creates gentle waves, highlighted by short sections in garter and stockinette stitch.

Yarn: 150 (200) g of MONDIAL Fiorito (70% cotton, 10% microfiber PC, 10% viscose, 8% microfiber PA, 2% polyester met; 50g=145m). You will need approximately 410 (530) m of yarn.
Needles and materials: 4mm needles (circular or straight), tapestry needle.
Gauge: one complete repetition of Chart (17 stitches and 22 rows) is 8.5 cm wide and 7 cm high, after blocking.
Sizes: S (L). The rectangle that forms the shrug is 63.5 (72) cm wide and 49 (56) cm high.
