Inspired by the TV series “Game of Thrones”, the Margaery Shawl is a medium sized crescent shawl worked down and out from the center of the top edge starting with a garter tab cast on, followed by a garter stitch section. It then merges into a two-toned section with cross-over slip stitches and ends with a delicate lace border.

The sample shawl uses the following yarn:
C1 (Fingering, 4 ply, 14 wpi):
1 skein (100 g, 3.53 ounces) of Madeline Tosh Twist Light,
75% merino wool, 25% nylon, length per skein 384 m (420 yd)
colorway 415 Translation, length used approx. 382 m (418 yd)

Please note: I used up this skein almost completely – only
2 meters left! I recommend getting some extra yarn to be on the safe side.

C2 (Fingering, 4 ply, 14 wpi):
2 skeins (200 g, 7.06 ounces) of Malabrigo Mechita,
100 % merino wool, length per skein 384 m (420 yd)
colorway 035 Frank Ochre, length used: approx. 550 m (602 yd)

Feel free to substitute yarns. I recommend adhering to the same yarn weight. Please bear in mind that other fibers may behave differently during blocking.
