Margaret Mead
One of the most renowned anthropologists of time, Margaret Mead (Dec. 16, 1901 - Nov. 15, 1978) contributed to the development of the anthropology and psychology and introduced understanding of human nature beyond academia. She was also a strong proponent of women’s rights and often tackled controversial social issues like child rearing, sexual morality, race relations, drug abuse, population control, environmental pollution, and world hunger.
The Margaret Mead headband is worked in one piece and the shirring is created when finishing. Sizing is adjustable with change in button placement. It’s a great project for quick gift-knitting for using up bits of leftover yarns.
This pattern is also available as part of Liberation, which can be purchased as a print or ebook.
Individual pattern purchase for Margaret Mead is no longer available.
