Margaret Mock Turtleneck
The Margaret Sweater is worked from the top down with raglan increases on the yoke. The stockinette stitched rounds allows for a rolled neck with the height resembling a mock turtleneck. The Margaret Sweater has a short boxy shape that creates a cozy fun fit. The narrow sleeves end with a fitted ribbed cuff giving this sweater a beautiful feminine look.
Sizes: 2 (3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12) years
Sweater chest: 26 (28, 31, 33, 34, 36) inches 66 (71, 79, 84, 87, 91) cm
Length: 11 ½ (13 ½, 15, 16 ½, 17 ½, 19) inches 29 (34, 38, 42, 45, 48) cmid back not including turtleneck collar)
Approx 5 to 6 inches of positive ease.
US 11 – 8.0 MM double pointed or circular needles 40”/100 cm long
Yarn: This pattern was created with a 6 super bulky weight acrylic and wool blend yarn, but you can use any super bulky weight yarn you prefer.
Perfect for beginners but enjoyable for all levels of knitters.
