Margareta is the Italian name for Daisy and this cheerful flower has inspired many knitters and designers. Here the corolla is made of bobbles enclosing a moss stitch circle on a background of reverse stockinette stitch.
Worked in the round with either double pointed needles or a 40cm circular needle for working the body and double pointed needles for shaping the crown, the beanie starts with a 1/1 rib where the knitted stitches are twisted for a neat finish. The leaves are created by travelling knit stitches and the bobbles are a non-turn kind, very easy and satisfyingly plump.
The pattern comes in chart form only.
