This Kindle or Nook cover is simple, but also pretty. I love the minimalist design and universal appeal. You can customize the style with your choice of button or toggle. This sleeve can be made in any size if you have the measurements of the device you want to make it for. If you aren’t familiar with linked double crochet, the tight weave is useful and versatile. This stitch is what helps the sleeve keep its shape. For yarn choice, I LOVE Dishie from WeCrochet. It’s super soft and glides right over your hook. Margie is a very special woman in my life - she’s a part of our family and she also crochets.

Supplies:

  • F (3.75mm) hook or hook to meet gauge
  • 85-120 yards medium or light worsted (4) weight yarn such as - WeCrochet Dishie (100% cotton or cotton blend recommended)
  • Scissors
  • Tapestry needle
  • Measuring tape
  • Stitch marker
  • 1” button or toggle
  • Sewing needle & thread

Gauge: 4” x 4” = 19 sts by 9 1/2 rows of LDC (be sure to measure in the middle of your work, don’t use the edges or starting row).
