The Margot Top uses five colors to create a rich herringbone pattern across the bust. The low scoop neck and half sleeves make this top an ideal layering piece for fall.

Yarn Manos del Uruguay Maxima (100% merino wool; 219 yd / 3.5 oz): #M2152 cherrywood (red-brown; MC), 2 (2, 3, 3, 3, 3) skeins; #M2293 leo (bronze; CC1), 3 (3, 3, 3, 4, 4) skeins; #M2333 lagoon (turquoise; CC2), #M2419 blueberry (dark blue; CC3), and #M2241 sand (off-white; CC4), 1 skein each. Yarn distributed by Fairmount Fibers.
Needles Size 7 (4.5 mm): straight and 24” circular. Size 17 (12.75 mm): straight. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Markers; removable markers; stitch holders; tapestry needle; two 5/8” x 7/8” oval buttons.
Gauge 18 sts and 12 rows = 4” in Herringbone st on larger needles; 18 sts and 36 rows = 4” in garter st on smaller needles.
Notes The body of this pullover is worked back and forth from the bottom up in separate pieces and seamed. The sleeves are picked up from the body and worked back and forth from the top down.
