Marguerite Yoke No. 319
Published in Corticelli Lessons in Crochet, Book No. 2, 1917.
The pattern is on page 10 of the PDF.
It also calls for 4 1/2 yards of 1/4” ribbon.
From pattern description:
“The crocheted Marguerites are joined by a simple chain to form a pretty and unusual yoke for nightgown or camisole, and the neck and sleeves finished with a dainty edge. Narrow ribbon is run through the beading at the upper and lower edge of yoke and around sleeves. For a narrow yoke finish the front in a straight pattern the same as the back. The floral motif is very decorative and may be effectively be combined with embroidery. An insertion of a single row of the motifs may be used for guest towel or dresser scarf.”
Both the Marguerites and the edging in this pattern can be used in other designs.
Take care when making the starting rings for the Marguerites that they are the same size, wrap the yarn around some hard object rather than your finger as suggested in the pattern.
With the finger method it’s a big risk that your tension will vary from flower to flower and dramatically change the gauge from one end of the work to the other.
