Mari beanie was inspired with its pattern of lace and cables from Mari socks. It is a nice and warm hat, perfect even for chilly winter days thanks to folded hem.

Size: the pattern is written for one regular woman adult size, ideal for head circumference 56-58 cm, but you can change it by different yarn types or changing the needle gauge.

Gauge: 19 sts in 10 cm of stockinette stitch knitted in flat, using bigger needles

Yarn: Vuonue Pentti, or any other similar DK yarn in about 170 m

Needles: 3,5 mm for hem, 4,00 mm for main part. The pattern is written for a magic loop technique (or circular needles 40 cm, switching to DPNS while knitting the crown), but you can use DPNS if preferred.

Other notions: tapestry needle for weaving in ends, stitch marker (optional)
