Mariah Shawl
The Mariah Shawl is inspired by the song “Mariah” as performed by the Bar J Wranglers, lovely western song about regret, longing, and the wild nature of the wind. The shawl is quite large--measuring at 115 inches/292 cm along the longest edge--and is perfect for use as a wrap, scarf, or even a blanket.
The shawl is an asymmetrical triangle design. It starts with a simple 2x2 rib that evolves into a cable pattern that represents the winds as they blow about. The pattern includes instructions for reducing (or increasing) the size of the shawl.
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner

Needles: US 5/3.75 mm 32 inches/80 cm circular knitting needles, cable needle optional
