Finished mitten size is 8” in circumference and 10” in length.
A larger size can be easily reached by going up a needle size or 2.

I used 2 balls in each color of Jamieson & Smith 2-ply jumper weight. I only needed a small amount of the 2nd ball for the Contrast Color (dark blue in picture). You might be able make both mittens with one CC ball, or you might end up playing yarn chicken. I recommend 2 balls, just in case.
