The Marie headband is the perfect way to dip your toes into stranded colour work. This is a small project in DK weight: a great reason to use your stash or indulge in luxury yarn.

This project is knitted in the round and has two monochrome colour charts. This is to make it easier to knit a contrast foreground (blue with white motif), or a contrast background (white with blue motif, for example). You could also experiment with colours that blend together, rather than contrast, such as the magenta and grey sample.
