The Marie Pullover is worked in an all-over rib pattern with a mock neck collar, creating an modern and elastic sweater that would look perfectly at home in a Parisian cafe.

The Marie Pullover is knitted from the top-down in the round with a mock neck, deep yoke, and straight sleeves. German short rows are worked over the back and sleeves to raise the back of the neck. The sweater is designed to be worn with 10-15 [4-6”] of ease, but the finished circumferences are listed so you may choose whatever amount of ease you would like.

An accessibility version of the pattern PDF is available. This version features no italic text, size 22 pt all-black font, no pictures in the body of the pattern, and all text in a single column. A schematic is included in the pattern but it is not needed to complete the garment. Both versions of the pattern include a sans serif font.

The pullover is knitted using DK weight yarn, or yarn held together to achieve a DK weight on 4mm [US 6] circular needles, with a gauge of 22 stitches x 30 rows = 10x10 cm [4x4 in].

The pullover has 10 sizes, with finished bust circumferences of 79, (87 ½, 95 ½, 103 ½), 106 ½, 114 ½, 122 ½, (133 ½, 142, 152 ½), 166 ½ cm [31, (34 ½, 37 ½, 40 ¾), 42, 45, 48 ¼, (52 ½, 56, 60), 65 ½ inches]. Required yarn yardage is 859, (942, 1033, 1113), 1108, 1247, 1330, (1467, 1556, 1739), 1873 meters [939, (1030, 1130, 1217), 1212, 1364, 1455, (1604, 1702, 1902), 2048 yards].

Sizes 7-10 (finished bust circumferences 133 ½ - 166 ½ cm) have yet to be test knitted. If you are interested in test knitting them please send me a message!
