Marie Sweater
Marie is a beautiful sweater knitted from top to bottom with raglan increases. The yoke features a delicate multicolored pattern that can be composed of just a few different colors or a wide range of colors, making it perfect for using leftover yarn.
Marie is, as mentioned, knit from the top, where you begin by knitting back and forth to shape the neckline while simultaneously making increases at the 4 raglan markers Once the neckline is shaped, the work is joined, and you now knit in pattern stitch according to the chart down to the armhole, where the work is divided into body and sleeves. The pattern continues a bit on both the body and sleeves, which are then finished with solid-colored stockinette stitch and a ribbed edge Finally, a ribbed edge is knitted at the neckline.
Also available as a kit including both yarn and pattern here.
