This blanket is made using the Tunisian Simple Stitch. I really adore this stitch and the wonderful texture it creates - it gives the blanket an almost woven look.

Use any crochet hook and yarn you want – just be aware that this may affect the final size of your blanket
Five ‘cables’ with each 5 squares are crocheted and then stitched together
