The cardigan is knitted from the bottom up with one strand of yarn.
The back and front are knitted flat in one piece until the armhole. Hereafter the front and back are knitted separately.
The shoulder seams are sewn together and stitches for the sleeves are picked up at the armhole. The sleeves are then knitted top-down in the round to the cuff.

100 % pure new wool from Sanne Fjalland KnitWear (225 m/50 g): 300(300)350(350) g
Be aware that the sleeves are not full length. If full length sleeves are preferred extra yarn might be needed.
Buttons: 6 pieces. 18 mm /0.7” diameter.

Needles:
Circular needles 3.5 mm/US 4 and 4.0 mm/US 6 (80 cm/32”), two circular needles 3.5 mm/US 4 (40 cm/16”), and your preferred type of needles 3.5 mm/US 4 and 4.0 mm/US 6 for knitting sleeves (double pointed needles or a shorter circular needle or same needles using magic loop).

Gauge:
22 sts and 31 rows in 10 cm/4” in stockinette stitch on larger needles.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Please notice that the sweater is knitted looser than recommended for the yarn type.
