Skills needed: large and small diameter knitting in 2 colours, join in a new colour, corrugated ribbing, increase, steeking, kitchener stitch, pick up stitches, decrease in pattern.

Additional yarn information: pattern uses 22 colours.

Additional size information: Large, knitted measurement of 48inches

Tip:Those who do the medium size which has an odd number of repeats should be aware that the designer does not centre the pattern after the ribbing, but midway through the first repeat.

If you do as per instructions, you’ll end up with the pattern on the body not lining up the same way as the pattern on the sleeves and chart.

Notes:
This is a book collecting patterns offered on a British television show. Be aware that the chart published in the book does have some errors. Photocopy the chart and color it with colored pencils and you will find the errors. Proper Fair Isle patterns only have two colors per round - there are 4 rows in the chart which show three colors mistakenly. The Mara_class group on yahoo has made this as a group project and the members would be happy to help with anyone knitting this pattern. This book is more available than ‘Scottish Collection’ so more folks can make Marina, yea!
