English Crochet pattern: Marina Tank Top

Say hello to your next favorite summer piece - the “Marina Tank Top”. The top was named after one of my best friends Marina, who is colorful just like the top. Also, the blue colors remind me of a marina and the gorgeous x’s stitches are like little nautical rope knots. This is a simple, easy crochet pattern with a sophisticated fit. The high neckline provide good coverage and give this design some functionality and practicality for everyday wear. A few simple finishing rows are worked along all raw edges for a more refined look that is often hard to find in crochet pieces. The negative ease tricks the eye by making it appear that the top of this tank top is shaped, when in reality each panel is made entirely of two rectangles, with no decreases. The instructions include many customizable elements sprinkled throughout the pattern that help make this garment feel more like “you”.

SIZING:
This top is written in nine sizes as follows: XS (S, M, L, XL) (2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL).

MATERIALS:

Yarn: Fine / Sport - Hobbii Twister Solid in 3 colorways: Natural White (101), Royal Blue (148) and Dark Denim (126). Or other Fine / Sport yarns who match the gauge.

55% cotton, 45% acrylic 400m (437 yds) per 100g (3.5 oz) skein

Meterage Required:
1 (1, 1, 1, 1) (1, 2, 2, 2) skeins of each of 3 colors, or 182 (210, 255, 281, 362)(392, 471, 506, 585) m of each of 3 colors.

Note: You will need a little more yarn of the color you are crocheting the border, neckline and straps with.

2 (2, 2, 3, 3)(3, 4, 4, 5) skeins in total, or 545 (630, 764, 842, 1086)(1176, 1413, 1516, 1754) m in total.

Hook: 3.0 mm or size needed to obtain gauge

Notions: Tapestry needle, several stitch markers, tape measure, scissors
