This is the information I am using to make this rug for the first time. The pattern has not been tested. This pattern can also be used to make a blanket.

I am in the process of making this using 4” granny squares. I will not make the squares surrounding the mushroom so the rug is the shape of the mushroom.

I will update this pattern to let you know how much yarn was used.
