Maristella is knit seamlessly in the round from the top down. The yoke has a very easy lace leaf pattern and the bottom of the cardigan has a similar chevron pattern. The body of the cardigan is knit flat and the sleeves, which can be either cap or three quarter length, are knit in the round. All you need are 2 - 6 50g balls of DK yarn which knits to a standard 22 sts by 28 row gauge. Maristella can be knit in cotton for the summer and in wool for the cooler months. As there are 6 sizes given, the pattern can be used for children up to the age of 7.
