Designed for overlay mosaic this pattern was originally made for my mom and so I have named it after this strong and feisty little lady.
It consists of 9 different patterns and includes full details for an afghan or throw in worsted and DK weight (yarn estimates, colours, hooks used and repeat schedules).

As always pattern includes charts (DC’s marked with X) and written instructions and is available in English with US crochet terms and Dutch and no special stitches, so beginner friendly.

Pattern is easily adjustable in height, but if you want to adjust the width you will have to do a little math as the patterns have various stitch widths.

Afghan option 1
Crocheted with a worsted weight on a 4.5mm and the border with a 4mm (G) hook.
Colour A – 1440 meters/ 1576 yards
Colour B – 1730 meters / 1892 yards
Measurement: 115 x 150 centimeters / 45.3 x 59 inches

Lapghan/baby blanket option 2
The main body was crocheted with Stylecraft Special DK on a 4mm and the border with a 3.5mm hook.
Colour A – 1035 meters / 1133 yards
Colour B – 1240 meters / 1357 yards

Measurement: 95 x 120 centimeters / 37.4 x 47.2 inches

Pattern can be made with any yarn and corresponding hook size.
