10 m/11 yd (short), under 50 m/55 yd (long) of fingering weight yarn, small leftovers in contrast colour for suckers
I recommend using anything from crochet thread to max. DK weight yarn, or the bookmark might get too thick to be usable
2.5 mm/US size C/2 crochet hook
darning needle for weaving in ends

Gauge:
Gauge does not matter much for this, but be aware if you use thicker yarn, your bookmark will not only get thicker and potentially be too thick for a book, but it will also get longer.

Low vision version is available too, with font Arial, size 24, no charts, fully written instructions, no italics, all black text.
