Crochet version of “Marked! Visibility Band”, originally made for a project to raise awareness about fatal pedestrian accidents. This website of this project is now defunct.

These are cuffs meant to be worn over a coat sleeve to enhance pedestrian visibility at nighttime.

Cuffs are worked flat in single crochet through the back loop and joined with a row of slip stitches. The yarn amount (64 m) is per pair of cuffs.

The size is adjustable by working more stitches per row for a wider cuff, fewer stitches per row for a narrower cuff, more rows for a larger circumference or fewer rows for a smaller circumference.

Use either a yarn with incorporated reflective strand, or add a separate reflective carry-along to any yarn of your choice.

The pattern page for the knit version of these cuffs can be found in the Ravelry database here.
