A delicate but cosy pair of fingerless mitts

This little pair of fingerless mitts is perfect for heading out to the market on cooler days. I love wearing them when I cycle into town, or to keep me hands warm when I’m knitting in the garden.

Pattern description

A pair of fingerless mitts with a thumbhole, finishing halfway up the hand. Featuring a cosy twisted rib cuff, rolled edge finish and tips for knitting stripes without a jog. Suitable for confident beginners.

Sizing

The pattern comes in two sizes, but you can easily adapt it to be larger or smaller. It needs to be an even number of cast on stitches for the rib pattern.

The sizes written here are Size 1 and 2, roughly S-M and M-L.

I have medium sized hands (19.5cm around the widest part of my palm) and the Size 1 fits me comfortably.
