Yarn: Bulky-Weight yarn, or whatever gives you a nice fabric at 3 stitches per inch. I used my own woolenspun Corriedale and small amounts of a random stash yarn that was about the same weight. I noticed I was going to run out of yarn, so about 3 inches after the increase row, I began working 1-row stripes.
