2017 is the year of the fade! All the irresistible speckled yarns out there are begging to become faded gradients. This top-down triangular shawl uses five speckled colors fading from light to dark. Hold two strands of yarn together, drop one color, and introduce the next color for a gradual marled blend. Diagonal ribbing decorates the fabric and makes the splashy speckles pop. The border fades into the darkest colors with voluptuous brioche ribbing. This expansive shawl is surprisingly quick to knit with the thicker gauge producing a squishy textured fabric.
